Our team here at Featherlite recently transformed this gooseneck Model 4941 into a mobile command center for Surry County in North Carolina.
The trailer includes multiple rooms and has sofas, a conference table and multiple workstations, or desks, for officials to work on site at events or wherever the unit is needed.
Multiple departments, including police, fire and emergency services, will utilize this trailer. The space inside the trailer is dramatically expanded thanks to a double slideout layout within the trailer.
The mobile command center was first used this past fall for one of their city’s festivals. You can watch this video to learn more about the mobile command unit.
In the event of a disaster or emergency, Featherlite specialty trailers can transform into mobile command centers to direct response and recovery efforts.
