When it comes to getting race cars and equipment to the track, every detail matters from organization and storage to reliability and style. A Featherlite race transporter recently completed for a drag racing team delivers all that and more.
While Featherlite has a long history of building trailers for NASCAR race teams, it builds race transporters to fit any and all types of race cars, including funny cars for drag racing. In this newest build, the upper deck was designed to be 61″ in height to fit this style of car. Also found in the upper deck is aluminum shelving, A-track on the floor, LED strip lighting and carpeted walls.
Designed and built by Featherlite’s experienced engineering and production teams, this custom transporter provides storage for tools and gear with the ample white laminate cabinets with adjustable shelving you find in the main area of the transporter. The layout of the cabinets was customized to the team’s needs. The lounge area was designed with sofas and a television as well as cabinets and a closet. A restroom was also added to this transporter.
Like all Featherlite transporters, this unit is built with our durable all-aluminum construction for a lighter, more fuel-efficient haul.
