Angie Skinner of Skinner Round-Up stopped by during the Daytona 500 weekend to visit with Mike from our Featherlite team to tour Kyle Larson’s new Featherlite race transporter.
This transporter was the latest one the Featherlite team designed and manufactured for Hendrick Motorsports, which has been a frequent customer over the last 20 to 30 years.
Featherlite’s race transporters, or haulers as they are often referred to, are like a race team’s home on wheels, providing everything they need to compete at the highest levels of NASCAR. The trailer hauls the team’s two cars, plus all the parts, tires, tools and gear the crew may need throughout the race weekend. Plus, there’s space up front for their engineering team to work.
Mike and Angie Skinner are the voices behind Skinner Round-Up on SiriusXM Radio. They bring listeners all the the latest NASCAR news as well as guests ranging from NASCAR champions to celebrities, musicians and athletes from other sports. Mike was the first champion of the inaugural season of the NASCAR Truck Series in 1995 and has a long list of accomplishments in the NASCAR world.
