CRESCO, Iowa (March 8, 2018) – Featherlite Trailers builds transporters for all types of vehicles and race series. And in one of its recent projects, the team at Featherlite added another type of vehicle to that list – a monster truck. The trailer was built for Samson Monster Truck Racing and Patrick Enterprises, Inc. (PEI).

Unlike most other transporters where the vehicles are hauled in the upper deck, this trailer has only a partial upper deck for storage to allow the larger truck to be hauled in the lower area of the trailer. The trailer also has a lounge with sofa as well as steps from the lounge that lead to a bedroom area.

The Samson Monster Truck Racing team is owned by Dan Patrick, who is a member of the International Monster Truck Museum & Hall of Fame and a legend in the industry. His daughter Allison Patrick has taken an increased role in the competition side of things. Patrick’s involvement in the monster truck industry also extends beyond competition. As a builder of monster truck chassis and components since 1989, PEI has become the industry standard, and the Patrick Chassis has been used by many of the sport’s top teams and drivers.
