Featherlite is honored to continue to be a long-standing partner with Samaritan’s Purse, an organization known for its commitment to helping communities in crisis. Over the years, Featherlite has collaborated on a variety of specialty trailers designed to strengthen their disaster relief capabilities. Recent custom built trailers this year have included a mobile equipment trailer and a mobile bunkhouse trailer.
New Tool & Equipment Transporter
One of Samaritan’s Purse’s newest transporters is designed to store and haul tools, supplies, chainsaws and other essential equipment used during disaster response. Having equipment organized, protected and ready to deploy is critical for the organization. This custom trailer aids in the group’s ability to mobilize quickly and efficiently.
Custom Bunkhouse Trailer
Featherlite also completed a new bunkhouse trailer built specifically to support disaster relief volunteers who often work long days in challenging conditions. This unit features multiple private sleeping areas to ensure volunteers and staff get the rest they need. The trailer also includes shared restroom and shower facilities.
